Park Royal's Winter Carnival - February 12-28, 2010
A Magical Outdoor Ice Skating Experience
When: February 12-28, 2010
Skating Canal: noon to 10pm;
Beverage Tent: 4pm to 10pm
Where: A section of Main Street in The Village at Park Royal.
Park Royal invites you to join a fun and unique community celebration. During the The Winter Carnival at Park Royal there will be an outdoor ice-skating canal running through Main Street in The Village. It will be reminiscent of the Rideau Canal Skateway in Ottawa, the Village Canal will be available and free for skaters.
I know what you are thinking... the unseasonably warm weather will not melt the "ice" itself, as it is innovative which is ideal given the unpredictable nature of Vancouver's weather. It's synthetic ice that looks and feels real - but no Zamboni is required.
What Happening at the Winter Carnival?
The entire CTV Games Broadcast will be shown on a big screen in The Village so you won't miss any our great Canadian athletes winning medals while you are out enjoying yourself with friends and family.
