Lonsdale Quay Market with host WinterFest, a 17-day celebration of Winter spirit. WinterFest will feature dynamic
entertainment, live Games viewing, food fair and community market, children's entertainment and a vibrant atmosphere to experience the exhilaration of the Winter
Games.
WinterFest is sponsored by the City of North Vancouver,
Vancouver's North Shore Tourism Association and the North Shore Spirit of B.C.

CTV Olympic Games Broadcast
The 2010 Olympic Winter Games will be broadcast live daily on large screens.
Whether you want to catch a sporting event with your friends, take
in a medal ceremony, or get caught up on the latest Olympic news, big screens are a great way to experience the excitement that the
Olympics has to offer.
Live Music, Concerts & Cultural Performances
- Live concerts featuring local talent
Weathered Home Band, Andrew Allen, Ben Sigston, Lotus, Hailey Morgan, and Studio Cloud 30 Showcase.
- Cultural performances:
Boat-Building, Chinese Dance Group, Dance Classes & Performances, Skxwumish (Squamish) Sna-7em Traditional First Nations Dancers and Group Capoeira Males.
- Live music:
Michelle Dumond, Graham Lazarovich, Roger Schmidt, Jess Hart, Nir Blu, The Steps, SoftFocus, Traces of Eve, Lord Byng Secondary Jazz Band, Tonye, Drew Weselak, Windsor Secondary School Jazz Choir, Edison Sunrise, Jana Seale, and CJ Li.

Marissa Gough has been an international specialty act for over 7 years. Her
performances are each unique, showing not only an impressive show of skill but a
deep understanding of this powerful element. Every performance is unique and
breathtaking.
Whozyamama
Sunday, February 14 & Monday, February 15 from 7:30-8:30pm
Cajun and zydeco band performing in the the Louisiana creole style of music and
dance.
Piper Mckenzie
Sat, February 13 from 1-3pm, Fri, February 19 &
Sat, February 20 from 3-4pm
Piper has performed his stunt comedy show for concerts, street festivals, busking
festivals, fringe festivals, indoor and outdoor corporate events, comedy clubs and
many other events over the past fifteen years. Piper started juggling when he was 10
years old, and performed his first street show when he was 14. He has been
performing every since.
For the Kids
Children will enjoy the newly renovated ballroom and animated play area with games and rides open daily from 9am-9pm. Face painting by Alice and the Mad Hatter (Weekdays 1-9pm; Weekends 9am-1pm) and the ever-popular 'Q' balloons will be offered daily from 11am-4pm. Watch for special guest appearances from BC Parks Jerry the Moose and a Ranger.
North Shore Spirit Bear Bells
Bear Bells are a way of life on the North Shore as they are both a practical item for hikers as well as a symbol of how close we live to nature. The commemorative Spirit Bear Bells have been blessed by an Elder of the Squamish Nation and signify the past, present and future, and water, land and air. Spirit Bear Bells are available at Lonsdale Quay Market Customer Service Centre for a $5 minimum donation to the North Shore Black Bear Society.

Fresh Food Market & International Food Court
The Market features something for everyone's taste! Daily caught seafood, fresh
baking, fresh local produce, handmade confectioneries, award-winning soups,
gourmet deli, butcher and artisan sausages and specialty wines.
In the mood for some international food? Visit our International Food Court to enjoy
cuisine from around the world, or relax and unwind in one of our waterfront
restaurants, bar or lounge.
Community Market
Venture through the corridors of the Market to encounter local artisans and designers
while discovering unique gifts and one-of-a-kind treasures. The Market features a
collection of fashion and accessories, jewellery, worldly gifts, souvenirs and natural
wellness products. Favourite Gifts & Accessories will host a daily designer showcase featuring local
designer and artisan products.
Market Ambassadors will be providing Olympic and local information during the Winter Games.

En Route
Lonsdale Quay Market is located at the gateway to the North Shore. Overlooking the waterfront, the Market is a well-known tourist destination and community gathering place. WinterFest will offer a unique experience to all visitors, and to provide an opportunity and environment for community expression.
VANOC's official bus pick-up and drop-off zone will be located at the Market 's doorstep, on Esplanade Street, and will be serving 2750 people per day during the Games. Public transportation from Vancouver to Lonsdale Quay includes the scenic Seabus.
