The Harmony Arts Festival is the North Shore’s premiere summer event – visit the various seaside venues and experience the sights and sounds and of this award-winning 10-day festival. Celebrating its 27th season, the Harmony Arts Festival brings a variety of free outdoor concerts and movies, a unique Art Market, a wine garden, Art of Food exhibition, Artsy Kids programs & more. This festival is a celebration of music, performance, cinema and art that showcases the best of North Shore, regional, and national performing, visual and culinary arts.
The festival offers four great musical series unfolding across 10 days, with live performances every day and evening on two stages. Admission is free.
Some of this year’s highlights include:
- The Birds of Chicago – known as a combination of Allison Russell and JT Nero, the Birds of Chicago bring a soul-infused rock swagger and haunting country-folk.
- The Paperboys – they have toured the world and lit up stages with their free-wheeling blend of influences from Celtic and bluegrass, to Mexican and son jarocho, brass bands and Canadian roots.
- Warren Dean Flandez – enjoy inspirational urban soul from an award-winning JUNO-nominated artist. Flandez, a Yellowknife-born vocalist, was a hit at last year’s festival!
