The Ferry Building Gallery at 1414 Argyle Avenue, West Vancouver is pleased to present an exhibition by Capilano University IDEA students entitled Reflections, April 25 – May 14.
Please join us to celebrate the unveiling of the annual “Reflections” poster show and sale, and help support the development of emerging local artists.
The theme of this year’s show, The Body, has been imaginatively interpreted by second year illustration and design students from Capilano University. This spring, Reflections is reborn in its most ambitious iteration yet, exploring a theme that is universal, but still as malleable as we are diverse: the Body.
Each illustrative and typographic poster is a response to this year’s theme, which provoked multiple interpretations and treatments, from activism to visual journalism, to personal experience and storytelling. The collection conveys our story as a clan, and reflects the research, development, and refinement the students have undertaken on this months-long project.
Opening Reception: Tuesday, April 25, 6–8 p.m.
