February

Mondays Guys Night Out, Girls Ride Free 6-10pm at Mount Seymour
A evening of skiing, snowboarding, hanging with your friends, and maybe making some new ones. This event supports Breast Cancer research through the BC Cancer Foundation.
Wednesdays Winter Social Nights, 6pm at Grouse Mountain
Celebrate a snowshoe trek or an afternoon on the slopes with Winter Social Nights. This event take place every Wednesday throughout the winter season kicking off at 6pm.
February 10-18 Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival - This festival features climbing and adventure films and events. It is held at Centennial Theatre in North Vancouver and in downtown Vancouver.
February 11-12 24 Hours of Winter - Grouse Mountain 9am Feb. 11th to 10pm Feb 12th.
To celebrate winter and two years since the Olympics , all facilities from skiing to dining will be in full operation all night long. There will be activities for all, from a junior hockey tournament to a midnight snowboard contest and more.
February 17-19 Canadian Shield Ski and Snowboard Tour at Mount Seymour
The Canadian Shield Ski and Snowboard Tour is Canada’s premier slopestyle series. The tour welcomes athletes of all abilities and helps to foster a friendly competitive environment while showcasing athletes performance and skill level.

April

April 6 43rd Annual Southern Straits Classic Yacht Race. Watch the start of the race from the Dundarave Pier.
April 6 & 7 Dundarave Easter Egg Hunt. Enjoy a pancake breakfast and live music. Hunt for 12,000 eggs and watch for a visit from the Easter Bunny.
April 7 Easter Egg Hunt at Heywood Park

May

TBA CityFest Skateboarding Competition. 12-4pm at the City Skateboard Park located at 23rd & Lonsdale. Youth art display, live bands, dance performances and a BBQ.
May 12 Spartan Race at Inter River Park, North Vancouver
The challenging 5k sprint trail races are a great way to get off your couch and start living.
