Farmers' Markets

You can reduce your carbon footprint by purchasing fresh, locally grown produce and homemade products from your local Farmers' Market. There are three Farmers Markets on the North Shore, which run from May through to early October. You can also find local produce and products at a North Shore Green Market.

Ambleside Farmers' Market

Sundays 10am-3pm from May 5th to October 28th, 2012
The Ambleside Farmers' Market has a good selection of organic and convention produce. Prepared food vendors include: breads, jams, honey, vinegars, pickles, salsas, pastas and much more. There is also a varied selection of B.C. crafts including jewellery, clothing, artwork, pottery, skincare and more. The Ambleside Market has a book exchange, newspaper reading area, games table, kids play area, and live music.

Where: Bellevue Street and 13th Street in West Vancouver. The market is located in the parking lot behind the Police Station.

Dundarave Farmers' Market

Saturdays 9am - 3pm from May 5th to October 6th, 2012
You will find fruits, vegetables, fresh flowers, perennials, herbs, baked goods, pickled items and more at the Dundarave Farmers' Market. There are also local crafters with their handmade items - such as jewellery, ceramics, wooden toys, silk handbags, etc.

Where: Dundarave Village (2400 block of Marine Drive), West Vancouver.

Lonsdale Quay Farmers' Market

Saturdays 10am-3pm from May 5th to October 27th, 2012
The Lonsdale Quay Farmers' Market has a great selection of conventional and organic produce. Prepared food vendors sell baking, jams, honey, preserves, salsas, sauces, pickles & pastas to name a few. You also will find local artisans with jewellery, pottery, photography, clothing, soaps, botanical prints, herbal skincare & much more. The Lonsdale Quay Farmers' Market also has a book swap, kids play area and entertainment.
