Over the years the Shipyards Night Market in North Vancouver has grown to be one of the most popular events on Vancouver’s North Shore (and ranked #1 on Lower Lonsdale). It is back again for another delicious year, starting on Friday, May 5th, 2017 and running every Friday 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. until September 29th. Here’s what you can expect from the 2017 Shipyards Night Market:
The market is set in the beautiful and historic shipyards, anchored by the 700-foot long Burrard Dry Dock Pier and surrounded by artworks commemorating the area’s rich history. From this site you will also see some of the most stunning 360 views of the North Shore and the Vancouver tower skylines.
A Local Lifestyle
The Shipyards Night Market believes in a local lifestyle. This means showcasing BC artisans, makers, farmers, and bakers. Shop the stalls for locally made products including soap, jewellery, clothing, kids wear, produce, plants, chocolate, honey, and so much more!
The North Shore is home to five unique and award-winning craft breweries, some of which will be featured in the night market’s beer garden! Take a break from shopping and sip on something cold, local, and refreshing from Bridge Brewing and Deep Cove Brewery.
Definitely come to the Shipyards Night Market with an empty stomach. Over twenty food trucks, and hoards of artisan food producers will be selling almost anything you could wish for your dinner. For those of you with a sweet tooth enjoy kettle corn, gelato, cannoli, crepes, slavic rolls and many more stalls filled with baked goods and handmade sweets.
New local talent is showcased with live performances each week on the Shipbuilders’ Stage. Until 10pm each evening experience musicians from all over BC play this outdoor venue.
The Shipyards Night Market is just a short Seabus ride away from downtown Vancouver and dogs are allowed! See you there!
