Spring Update: The last day of the season for Cypress Mountain is April 17, 2016.

Cypress Mountain is Vancouver’s only big mountain experience, Located in West Vancouver within Cypress Provincial Park. Just a 30 minute drive from the downtown Vancouver, Cypress Mountain offers outdoor enthusiasts plenty of activities including skiing, riding, cross country skiing, snowtubing, snowshoeing, hiking and down hill mountain biking.

Cypress Mountain is the largest local mountain, considerably larger than its sister mountains, Grouse Mountain & Mount Seymour. Cypress Mountain is the ideal place to tackle adventure or learn a new sport. Cypress Mountain offers 52 runs for skiers, snowboarders, snowshoeing trails for all abilities, as well as 16 kilometres of groomed and track-set trails for fans of Nordic skiing.

Lessons

Drop-in and multi-day lessons and equipment rentals are available for all activities on the mountain. The knowledgeable and experienced staff will ensure a safe and fun time no matter what your skill level.

2010 Winter Olympics

Cypress Mountain was the official freestyle skiing and snowboard venue for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. Freestyle skiing events included aerials, moguls and ski cross, while snowboard events include half-pipe, parallel giant slalom and snowboard cross. The Mountain was transformed into a world-class recreation mountain, with the addition of a new permanent day lodge, 40 hectares of new terrain, a new high-speed chairlift, parking upgrades, Terrain Park and much more.
