John Lawson Park has a new splash park and playground that your kids are sure to love! The playground includes a pirate ship, a train and other modern playground equipment.
During the hot summer months, John Lawson Park is a great place to cool down with a swim in the ocean. The Pier at John Lawson Park is a great spot to watch cruise ships and sunset.
John Lawson Park is the perfect place for a picnic. There are picnic tables and lots of grassy areas where you can put down a blanket.
John Lawson Park is located along the famous West Vancouver Seawall. This popular Seawall stretches from Ambleside to Dundarave, and is favoured by walkers and joggers. Walking ‘the seawall’ is a favourite activity of local residents. Enjoy the spectacular views of Burrard Inlet while you walk the seawall. There are plenty of nearby places to grab a coffee, ice cream or a treat and many restaurants.

Location & Parking
John Lawson Park is located at the foot of 17th Street at the waterfront in West Vancouver. A parking lot and street-side parking are available. Make sure to check the parking regulations, so you don’t get a ticket. Most parking in the area has a two hour limit during the day.
