Vancouver's North Shore's mounatins are a mecca for every kind of snow sport enthusiast during the winter months. Cypress, Grouse and Seymour mountains offer something for all levels skiing and snowboarding. The mountains are all open late for night skiing and boarding under the lights.

Cypress Mountain

Cypress Mountain is Vancouver's only big mountain experience, with the most runs and the most lifts of all North Shore Mountains. There's something for skiers and boarders from beginner to expert. Run break down: Beginner 13%, intermediate 35%, advanced 37% and expert 8%. The Freestyle terrain accounts for 8%.

The Cypress Mountain is also home to Canada's most popular cross country skiing area. The Nordic cross-country area features 16km of groomed and track-set trails for every member of the family.

Grouse Mountain

Grouse Mountain, the Peak of Vancouver, is unlike any ski area in North America. Located just 30 minutes from downtown Vancouver, you can ski and snowboard with breathtaking views of the City and the lower mainland of BC literally at your feet.

Grouse Mountain has 26 ski and snowboard runs, 14 night runs, 4 chairlifts, 2 terrain parks plus the Cut Jump Line. With the North Shore's most extensive snowmaking system, it's no wonder Grouse Mountain is the city's playground.

Seymour Mountain

Seymour Mountain is the favourite with families. Accessible by car, the ski area has something for skiers and snowboarders alike. Mt Seymour has over 200 acres of downhill ski and snowboard terrain with 39 trails, 5 lifts (3 double chairs, one double tow-rope, one magic carpet) and four terrain parks. 12 trails plus all terrain parks are equipped with night lighting
Trail break down: novice 40%, intermediate 40%, advanced/expert 20% with 330m of vertical drop.

Mt Seymour's terrain park is one of the most recognized in the area. The terrain park incorporates several distinct areas catering to the varied abilities.
