All three local mountains Cypress, Grouse and Seymour have scenic snowshoe trails to get you up close and personal with the West Coast forests. You can explore the trails on your own or take a guided tour.
Cypress Mountain - West Vancouver
Cypress Mountain's snowshoeing area is located in the Nordic Area of the mountain. You can explore the trails on your with the self guided snowshoe trails which are open daily till dusk.. If you prefer, you can join one a fun and informative guided snowshoe tours. The tours include introduction to snowshoeing, and the popular Chocolate and Cheese & Chocolate Fondue Tours.

Grouse Mountain - North Vancouver
Grouse Mountain's Munday Alpine Snowshoe Park has four different groomed trails to choose from. Tour the beginner and intermediate snowshoe trails of the Blue Grouse Loop, or head for Dam Mountain - a pristine loop of three main trails that circle Dam Mountain and Thunderbird Ridge. If you are a fitness enthusiast, try the Snowshoe Grind an intense Grouse Grind like workout with an elevation gain of 700 feet. Guided tours include evening Snowshoe Fondue tour, which combine snowshoeing with a scrumptious fondue.

Mount Seymour - North Vancouver
The snowshoe trail system at Mount Seymour has a variety terrain including many loop options for all levels of snowshoers, and well-marked trails with trail maps at each junction. If you are new to the sport or just looking for a scenic hike, the Discovery Snowshoe Trails are your best option. The trail system includes two scenic lakes and old growth forests.
