Grouse Mountain Zipline

If you are looking for high-adrenalin adventure, then Grouse Mountain Zipline tours might just be the ticket. The Grouse Mountain Zipline, now open year-round, takes you high above the alpine rainforest. There are three ziplines at the lodge level. Then you ride the Peak Chair to the last two ziplines, which will have you careening through the air at speeds up to 80 km/hour.

The Mountain Zipline experience combines heart pounding thrills with exploration of breathtaking old-growth forests, and also offers a unique perspective of the Blue Grouse Lake region. Along the way you will learn about indigenous flora and fauna and its significance to First Nations people. Platforms allow you to stop and enjoy the panoramic views overlooking the Vancouver area and surrounding mountain ranges. Your Mountain Zipline adventure will last approximately two hours.

  • Five-line circuit is fully dual-track
  • Speed reaches up to 80km/hr. Lines are up to 70m/200ft high.
  • Appropriate footwear required (no open toed shoes)
  • Participants must be between 32kg (70lbs) and 114kg (250lbs)

Air Grouse Mountain ZiplineYou can book your zipline tours online, by phone (604-980-9311) or in person at Grouse Mountain. Reservations are recommended but walk-ins are welcome based on availability.

Cost:
$105 including Skyride & Zip circuit, $75 for Grouse Mountain members.
Depart: Daily 10am-6pm, every 20-30 minutes
Tour Length: About 2.25 hours

Before or after your zipline tour, don't miss the many complimentary activities on the mountain including: the famous Lumberjack Show, Birds in Motion demonstrations, Peak Chair rides, Refuge for Endangered animals, home to resident grizzly bears Grinder and Coola, Theatre in the Sky and guided interpretive walks.

Getting to Grouse Mountain

Grouse Mountain is an easy 15 minute drive from downtown Vancouver, located in the district of North Vancouver. For guest services and central reservations call: (604) 980-9311.

Driving Directions:
Follow Georgia Street through Stanley Park and across the Lion's Gate Bridge. Take the North Vancouver exit to Marine Drive, then left up Capilano Road for 5 km (3.1 miles). Or, from the Ironworkers' Memorial Second Narrows Bridge, follow Highway #1 westbound to Capilano Road Exit North.

Public Transit:
The public transit system offers regular service to the base of Grouse Mountain every half hour. Catch Bus 232 from Phibbs Exchange or Bus 236 from Lonsdale Quay. For more schedules and info visit the TransLink  website.
