Grouse Mountain
Known as both a resort and an attraction, Grouse Mountain is a popular North Vancouver summer and winter mountain playground. There's not a better view of Vancouver's North Shore and the city of Vancouver than what you'll see from the famous Grouse Mountain Skyride, an aerial tram that ferries visitors up the mountain 365 days a year.
Skiing & Snowboarding Terrain Parks
There are two main terrain park areas for both riders and skiers of all skill levels and ages. Learn or master freestyle terrain techniques in the locally built park. It is the first park to take into account local opinions to give you exactly what you want.
Grouse Mountain Ziplines
Enjoy one of the most unforgettable outdoor experiences on the Lower Mainland! A Grouse Mountain Zipline tour puts you high above the alpine rainforest, careening through the air at top speeds of 80 km/hour. The zipline experience will give you a unique perspective of the Blue Grouse Lake region of the mountain, combining heart pounding thrills with exploration of BC's breathtaking old-growth forests.

Grouse Grind
The Grouse Grind trail takes you through steep and rugged terrain from the North Vancouver plateau to the glorious Grouse mountain peak. The trail is only 2.9 km long, but it is very challenging with 2,830 stairs and an elevation gain of 2,800 ft. You can understand why "The Grind" is a favourite spot for locals to improve their fitness level in a hurry. On average you can expect the climb to take up to an hour and a half to complete, depending on your fitness level, novice hikers should allow up to two hours.

The Eye of the Wind
British Columbia’s wind energy icon and newest technological marvel, The Eye of the Wind is the world's first wind turbine with a one-of-a-kind panoramic viewPOD at the top of the tower. The viewPOD is accessible by elevator – providing visitors with a close-up view of wind energy at work plus a 360-degree view of the Lower Mainland.

Lumberjack Show
Awaiting you at the mountaintop stand two famous lumberjack performers, Johnny and Willie, ready to determine who is the best lumberjack. Watch them saw, climb and hack their way to the top with their unique outdoor abilities.

Getting to Grouse Mountain
Grouse Mountain is an easy 15 minute drive from downtown Vancouver, located in the district of North Vancouver. For guest services and central reservations call: (604) 980-9311.
Driving Directions:
Follow Georgia Street through Stanley Park and across the Lion's Gate Bridge. Take the North Vancouver exit to Marine Drive, then left up Capilano Road for 5 km (3.1 miles). Or, from the Ironworkers' Memorial Second Narrows Bridge, follow Highway #1 westbound to Capilano Road Exit North.
Public Transit:
The public transit system offers regular service to the base of Grouse Mountain every half hour. Catch Bus 232 from Phibbs Exchange or Bus 236 from Lonsdale Quay. For more schedules and info visit the TransLink website.
