  3. Visit the Artists for Kids Gallery
    The Gordon Smith Gallery Canadian Art in North Vancouver is home to the acclaimed Artists for Kids Gallery. The Artists for Kids program has been acquiring masterworks from Canada’s leading artists for more than 20 years. Gallery Hours: Wednesday to Friday 12-5pm and Saturday 10:30am-3pm

  4. Lonsdale Quay Market in North VancouverVisit Lonsdale Quay Market
    The Lonsdale Quay Market is a great place to visit with kids. On the second floor of the market there are many kids stores and a free ballroom for young children. There are many places to grab at bite in the Market, including a food court that offers many choices for snacks, lunch or dinner. After you explore the market, be sure to head for the waterfront plaza and enjoy the scenic view.


  5. Visit the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park
    Get outdoors and experience thrills at the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, Cliffwalk, and Treetop Adventure. There is lots of space for children explore, and well-behaved dogs on leashes are permitted. If you are a BC resident and are planning a return visit, BC residents enjoy unlimited admission to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park for one full year from date of purchase.   6. Go Fly a Kite
    Go fly a kit, or walk your dog, at Ambleside Park in West Vancouver. There is lots of space to run along the beach or on the grass at Ambleside Park. On a windy day this is a great spot to fly a kite. If you are traveling with your dog, check out Ambleside Park's dog friendly beach at the north end of the park.

  7. Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge in North VancouverHike in Lynn Canyon Park
    Go for a hike in Lynn Canyon Park, walk across the Suspension Bridge and take in Twin Falls. Stop at the Lynn Canyon Ecology Centre for some learning and fun.

    New Shops opening fall 2013 at Park Royal Village in West VancouverPark Royal is the largest shopping centre on the North Shore. There are over 280 unique shops, restaurants and services in the North Mall, South Mall and Park Royal Village.

    The Village at Park Royal is an open-air destination for foodies, fashionistas and everyone in between. The Village is a pedestrian friendly outdoor shopping environment with a diverse mix of retailers. The recent Village expansion includes: LUSH, The Men’s Club, Sephora, Anthropologie, J.Crew, LOFT, Aritzia. and Zara.
