Known as both a resort and an attraction, Grouse Mountain is a popular North Vancouver year-round mountain playground. There’s no better view of Vancouver’s North Shore and the city of Vancouver than the one you’ll see from the famous Grouse Mountain Skyride, an aerial tram that ferries visitors up the mountain 365 days a year.

Grouse Mountain offers a diverse array of summer activities catering to various interests and fitness levels. Here are some highlights:​

  • Grouse Grind®: Known as “Mother Nature’s StairMaster,” this challenging 2.9 km trail ascends 800 meters up the mountain. 

  • Other Trails: For a more relaxed experience, explore trails like the Blue Grouse Loop and Dam Mountain Loop, offering scenic views and opportunities to observe local flora and fauna.

New and Upcoming Features

  • Blue Grouse Gondola: A state-of-the-art gondola is slated to open during the summer of 2024, enhancing mountain access.

  • Mountain Bike Park and Mountain Coaster: Plans are underway to introduce a mountain bike park and a mountain coaster, aiming to diversify the resort’s four-season offerings.
