Dine Out Vancouver 2024: North Shore Eats

Dine Out Vancouver is Canada’s largest food and drink festival, with hundreds of restaurants offering special menus and food-forward events and experiences across the lower mainland. Each restaurant offers a distinct menu of three or more courses at select prices, so the options are endless! The 2024 festival runs January 17th – February 4th and includes a wealth of incredible dining on Vancouver’s North Shore. Here’s a taste.

Anatoli Souvlaki

A North Shore favourite since 1984, Anatoli Souvlaki offers up the best of Mediterranean hospitality in lower Lonsdale. Choose from Greek classics such as Kopita, Keftedes and 5-hour braised Country Lamb on their $49 menu.

Ancora Waterfront Dining and Patio

Sweeping panoramic views of Ambleside pair very well with sustainable seafood dishes sourced from the best local and international ingredients at Ancora. Their $65 menu has choices that include Tenderloin Sushi Rolls, a Halibut Curry and Wild Mushroom Tagliatelle.

Arms Reach Bistro

This award-winning bistro is situated in the quaint community of Deep Cove. Known for its West Coast fresh, local produce and beautiful location overlooking the water. Their $42 three-course menu includes Shaved Brussels Salad or Mushroom Toast, Duck Confit or Linguine Cauliflower and Sour Cherry Napoleon.

Beach House Restaurant

Enjoy a true West Coast dining experience in a beautiful heritage building overlooking the water at the foot of Dundarave Pier at the Beach House. Always seasonal, the $60 menu includes options such as Yuzu Calamari, Oven Roasted Salmon and Steak Frites.

Bravo Cucina

An enticing array of classic dishes from the north and south of Italy, from Alba to Sicily, awaits you at this popular eatery. Special for Dine Out is a $49 menu that includes Salt Spring Island Mussels, Braised Lamb Shank, Blackened Red Snapper and more.

Bufala Edgemont

Tucked away in the charming Edgemont Village, this equally charming pizzeria offers Neapolitan-style pies alongside Italian-inspired small plates, pastas and entrees. Their $41 menu allows you to pick from, among other delights, Kale Caesar and Tuscan Bean Dip to start, Spaghetti & Burrata and three styles of pizza for your main.

Cantina Norte

Vancouver’s most awarded Mexican restaurant opened in 1987 and is still going strong in Edgemont Village. Their $45 Dine Out menu features Chorizo & Potato Taquitos, Pollo con Mole Negro and Roasted Al Pastor, among other dishes celebrating Mexican cuisine’s rich tapestry.

Catch 122

A recent transplant from Hasting Street in Vancouver, Catch 122 is a welcome addition to The Shipyard’s ever-growing culinary destination. For $49, you’ll choose from Korean Steak Tartare, Gnocchi and their Catch of the Day, plus more uplifted casual fare.

Chez Michel

Classic French cuisine has been served up with flair in this elegant and graceful setting in West Vancouver since 1979. Escargots Provençale, Beef Bourguignon and Chicken Vol au Vent are just some of the options on their $65 menu.

Farina A Legna

This intimate Italian restaurant takes its inspiration from the wood oven, the heart of their kitchen. A $45 menu for Dine Out includes Porcini and Pea Arancini to start, followed by your choice of Calabrian Spaghetti Bolognese or Spaghettoni Pomodoro.

Fishworks

Timeless classics mix with modern takes at this seafood restaurant that celebrates the unique and fresh bounty of the West Coast. Their $48 menu includes options such as Peruvian Honey Mussels Cilantro Soup, Pacific Lingcod & Squid and Scallops & Prawns Saltado.

Ki-Isu

This West Vancouver sushi bar-style casual restaurant features high-quality traditional Japanese dishes and unique fusions. Choose from Ebi Mayo, Miso Sablefish and a chef’s tasting of sushi for $49 for Dine Out.

The Lobby 

Inside the Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier, you’ll find a true North Vancouver local restaurant offering a modern flare to your traditional comfort foods and daily features. An extensive Dine Out menu features dishes such as Wagyu Beef Carpaccio, Braised Beef Short Rib and Wild Mushroom Risotto for $45.

Mumbai Masala

This family-owned and operated restaurant has been serving authentic Indian cuisine on the North Shore for nearly 20 years. Its Dine Out offerings go for $29.95 and include choices like Chilli Momos, Lamb Kayla and Beef Rogan Josh.

Pier 7

No other restaurant on Vancouver’s North Shore gets you this close to the water, built on the boardwalk of the historic Victory Shipyards in the revitalized waterfront of the Lonsdale Quay area. Choose from Beet Burrata Salad, Seared Sablefish, Mushroom Chicken Risotto and other delicious West Coast creations on their $65 menu.

Palki

Named for the decorative carriage prominent in marriages and for transporting nobles, this North Shore Indian eatery is acclaimed for its high-quality dine-in experience. Their $60 shareable menu features many Indian classics such as Butter Chicken, Beef Vindaloo and Paneer Makhani.

Seaside Provisions

Located inside the Seaside Hotel, you’ll enjoy small plate tapas and regional creations sourced locally, as well as bespoke cocktails perfected for your table. Their dine-out menu is $49 and includes Baked Brie or Wagyu Beef Carpaccio, followed by your choice of Truffled Mushroom Risotto or Mussles.

Smoke and Bones

Southern BBQ comes to the North Shore, where “low and slow” is the name of the very delicious game. Tie up your bib and enjoy selections such as the 3 Meat Combo, Mushroom and Avocado Rice Bowl, or the Daily Scratch Soup on their Dine Out menu at $39.99.

Village Taphouse

“Honest food and quality drink” are the hallmarks of this neighbourhood pub that gets cozy around a giant fireplace in the middle of the room, with plenty of flat screens to catch the game. At Dine Out, you’ll choose from Korean Chicken, a Backyard Bacon & Cheese Burger, a selection of pizzas and other elevated pub fare at $35.

Zubu Ramen

Offering up a perfect balance of the new and the old, Zubu is known for its outstanding ramen and an eclectic East Asian-style menu. For Dine Out, you’ll create your own 4-course menu for $30 and choose from specially made handrolls, Crispy Chicken, and Tonkutso Kuro, among many more.
