Dine Out Vancouver is Canada’s largest food and drink festival. Every year, hundreds of restaurants participate in 17 days of dining and food-forward events and experiences but as with everything during the pandemic – this year looks a little different. The 2021 festival is spread over 31 days February 5 – March 7 giving you more time to support local restaurants and explore the eateries in your community. Here are the participating North Shore restaurants:
The award-winning Arm’s Reach Bistro is situated in the quaint community of Deep Cove. Known for their West Coast fresh, local produce and beautiful location overlooking the water. Their $38 three-course menu includes Malai Cashew Curry or Slow Roasted Chicken Tagine, Roasted Carrots or Beet Hummus, and White Chocolate Mousse.

Bravo Cucina Ristorante in North Vancouver features dishes from the northern and southern provinces of Italy. Offering a classical menu with authentic dishes from the Alba region to Siciliy. Three-course lunch ($25) and dinner ($35) menus are available with dishes such as Lobster Brandy Bisque, Pacific Red Snapper, Veal Cannolini, and Pistachio Cheesecake.

Tucked away like a well-kept secret on the second level of Lonsdale Quay Market, The Cheshire Cheese Restaurant & Bar is an oasis of traditional hospitality with a cozy bar and outdoor patio offering casual waterfront dining with seafood and traditional British fare. Their three-course dinner menu for $28 includes dishes like French Onion Soup, Fisherman’s Pie, Beef Yorkies, English Trifle, and Homemade Apple Crumble.

Colony Northwoods has a comfort food menu and a well-stocked bar – including a progressive craft beer list. Their three-course menu for $28 has options for vegetarians and meat-eaters alike. Meal options include TMRW Vegan Meatballs, Thai Curry, Chilli-rubbed Chicken, and Churro Waffles.

Farina A Legna is a casual, intimate Italian restaurant taking its menu inspiration from the wood oven, which is the heart of their kitchen. The menu is designed to be shared family-style, with a selection of antipasti, pasta, and pizza showcasing seasonal ingredients from local farmers and purveyors, as well as specialty items from Italy. They have two menus available – a special offer for two for $60 including antipasti, pasta, pizza, and dessert or a three-course dinner menu including a number of options with dishes like Burrata, Amatriciana, Calabrese Pizza, and Panna Cotta.

Seaside Provisions is the restaurant located at the Seaside Hotel in The Shipyards District. Here, you can enjoy small plate tapas and regional creations, sourced locally and bespoke cocktails perfected for your table. Seaside Provision’s three-course menu ($48) includes Mussels, Seafood Chowder, Surf & Turf, Mushroom Risotto, and Banana Buttercake. The restaurant will also be hosting Oyster Fest every Thursday from 12 pm-9 pm which offers a dozen oysters and a bottle of wine for $45+tax and buck a shuck oysters all day.
