Mindful dining and organic lifestyle choices are becoming more and more the norm in today’s society. Dining choices, for those seeking organic choices, used to be quite limited on Vancouver’s North Shore, and often required a trip across a bridge, but there are a growing number of North Shore restaurants that are striving to serve healthy food that is delicious, responsible and affordable.
“Better Food – Better World” is a mantra of the owner and staff of the Ethical Kitchen and they firmly believe that, “If we bring into our bodies food grown with respect, then we bring that energy into ourselves and nourish our bodies as well as positively engage in our community and environment.” Ingredients are sourced as locally as possible and they make all of their own bread, cakes, pastries and sauces in-house. The menu is small and changes with the days, weeks, seasons and availability of ingredients.
