Ambleside Beach is the commercial heart and creative hub of West Vancouver – a waterfront neighbourhood that celebrates community and culture in all its forms. It is a beautiful beach community that is home to artists, galleries and year-round festivals. With a lively Marine Drive main street connected to the Centennial Seawalk, and a roster of festivities centred around the shore, it attracts locals and visitors from around the lower mainland, who find original and independent shops and restaurants, active waterfront parks and piers, and an inspiring community of artisans, creators and innovators.
Ambleside Beach Village is connected to the nearby village of Dundarave by the beautiful Centennial Seawalk and lively main street. At night, the Lions Gate Bridge is distinguished by its elegant strings of white lights. You might also get to see a cruise ship head out to sea.
Ambleside Beach offers a charming farmer’s market every Sunday from May-September, and ample green spaces for families to enjoy. It’s also the home of the famous Harmony Arts Festival — every August the West Vancouver waterfront transforms into a celebration of music, art, food and culture with live music, art displays, outdoor movies and more.
