On a snowshoe-fondue tour, you and a group of friends sign up to be guided through the towering hemlock and fir trees in the glistening snow on one of Vancouver’s North Shore mountaintops before finishing your day in a lodge fireside with your hot fondue. Strap on your headlamp and explore the old-growth forests of Cypress Mountain before returning to the historic Hollyburn Lodge for a delicious cheese and chocolate fondue dinner. An experienced and informative guide will take you on a one-hour headlamp-lit evening snowshoe tour before you retire to Altitudes Bistro for a three-course cheese, broth, and chocolate fondues — add Grand Marnier, Baileys, Amaretto or Triple Sec to your chocolate fondue for a naughty treat available at $10.00 per pot. Price includes a 1-hour guided snowshoe tour, headlamp and snowshoe rentals, 3-course fondue dinner, and your Grouse Mountain pass. $95pp. Passholders $76pp.
Explore the magic of winter under the night sky at Mt Seymour Resort. This guided experience will lead you through rolling forested trails to a hand-carved snow lounge where you will indulge in a delicious chocolate fondue featuring fresh-cut fruit and special dipping treats while listening to your guide telling you fun facts and stories about the fondue tradition.
